International Karate

International Karate is a karate computer game published in 1985 by System 3 for the ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC and Atari 8-bit family of computers. Versions of this game were later released for the Atari ST and the Amiga. There was a PC port too in CGA 4 colors . The game is a simple beat-em up with a side view. Depending on how well you hit your opponent, you either score a half-point or a full point. There were many backdrops representing different famous locations in the world. The game was programmed by Archer Maclean, and the music was by Rob Hubbard. A sequel to this game called International Karate + was later released.
