International Bible Society

The International Bible Society (IBS) translates, publishes and distributes the Bible with the intent of helping people around the world become Christians. It was founded in New York in 1809. In addition to selling low-cost Bibles, the Society has commissioned a number of Bible translations, including the English-language New International Version, the New International Reader's Version, and the Spanish-language Nueva Versin International.
