International Airport

An International airport is an airport where flights between two countries land or take off. Such airports are usually larger, and often feature longer runways and facilities to accomodate the large aircraft commonly used for international or intercontinental travel. As well, international airports house customs facilities so that passengers and freight may be legally admitted into the country. International airports often host domestic flights (flights which take place inside only one country) in addition to international ones.
