Interferon Beta-1a

Interferon beta-1a is a drug in the interferon family used to treat multiple sclerosis. There are two principal competitors in the market for this drug: In addition, Schering makes a similar treatment using interferon beta-1b called Betaferon (marketed in the United States by Berlex under the name Betaseron).
