Initiative For Community Action

INitiative for Community Action (INCA) is a voluntary initiative of students at IIM Calcutta, and first of its kind within management schools in India. The idea behind INCA is providing students a forum where they can (if they want to) contribute to the NGO sector. INCA is the largest student society on campus and every year around 100 students participate in various projects initiated in collaboration with NGOs. Presently INCA works on projects in and around Calcutta, due to travel difficulties involved in undertaking out-of-town projects.
