Infogrames

Infogrames Inc. is the company that renamed itself Atari Inc. in 2003 after having licensed the name from Hasbro. It was founded in 1983 by Bruno Bonnell and Christophe Sapet in the city of Lyon, France. Infogrames produces, publishes and distributes interactive games. Since 1996 Infogrames has acquired many companies in the video games market. They include: Ocean Software, Gremlin, Hasbro Interactive (which included Microprose), Accolade, GT Interactive and Shiny Entertainment.
