Indoor Air Quality

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) deals with the healthiness of air inside of buildings. Its scope includes mold, bacteria, chemicals, allergens, and anything that can exist in the air and affect people's or animal's health. Some people are trained in testing the quality of indoor air and certified by organizations and corporations such as the American Industrial Hygiene Association, American Indoor Air Quality Council, Indoor Environmental Institute, Indoor Air Quality Association, and the Indoor Environmental Standards Organization. These consultants may take samples of the air or dust inside the building and send them to a laboratory. For reliable results and legal defensibility, all samples should go to an accredited laboratory.
