Indjija

Inđija (Инђија) is a city located in Serbia and Montenegro at 45.05° North, 20.09° East. In 2003 the city has total population of 26300 and is 384 km². It is located in Vojvodina, Srem. The first verifiable evidence of Inđija's existence is in the Charter of Despot Jovan Branković from 1496, but it may have existed as early as 1455.
