India Buildings

India Buildings Water street, Liverpool, United Kingdom, was built between 1924 and 1932 for Alfred Holt's Blue Funnel shipping line, the architect was Herbert Rowse. It was designed to be converted into a warehouse if needed. It replaced an earlier building of the same name. During WWII it was badly damaged it ropened in 1952 restored. The building is still in used today and boasts an elegant arcade of shops as well as modern office space.
