Import Classic

The term import classics refers to motion pictures, animes, computer games, and video games that were originally marketed exclusively in one country that have gained a cult following in another country, where it did not officially see the light of day, much later from the time of their release. Some video games that were marketed exclusively in Japan became import classics in the United States and Europe, especially through console emulation. These video games are later unofficially translated from Japanese to English also through console emulation.
