Ida Of Bernicia

Ida (died 559) was a ruler (probably the founder) of the English kingdom of Bernicia between 547 and 559. The Anglo-Saxon Chronicle records him as the son of Eoppa, Eoppa of Esa and Esa of Ingwy. He was married to Bearnoch. According to some sources they had 8 children of whom 6 became kings.
