The Hyundai Elantra was a compact sedan made by Hyundai of South Korea between 1991 and 1995, with a mid-term facelift in 1993. It was replaced by the Hyundai Avante, although the Avante is usually called the Elantra in export markets. The Elantra was known by another name: the Lantra. By that time both the lan and the Elante had ceased to exist.
