Hypothetico Deductive Model

  Hypothetico-deductive method  
The Hypothetico deductive model is a method of scientific progress whereby a hypothesis is tested by generating predictions that may be tested through scientific experiments. When such a prediction is proven false through these experiments the theory is rejected and a new hypothesis is required.
