Hydropathic Establishment

A hydropathic establishment is a place where people are given water therapy. They are commonly built in spa towns, where mineral-rich or hot water occurs naturally. Taking the waters, by drinking it, bathing in it, or having colonic irrigation with it, is believed by some to restore or promote good health.
