Human Respiratory Syncytial Virus

Human respiratory syncytial virus (HRSV) is the name of the human pneumovirus. It is a negative single-stranded RNA virus of the family Paramyxoviridae, subfamily Pneumovirinae. RSV causes respiratory tract infections at all ages. It is the most common cause of bronchiolitis in infants.
