Html Goodies

HTML Goodies is an online tutorial website established in 1994 by Joe Burns. It originally specialised in HTML tutorials, but now contains tutorials on most Internet markup and programming languages. It was started as one of the first sites to teach HTML in a way that was accessible to a non-technical audience and, as the number of people using the Internet exploded, it became so popular that it outgrew the system that it was hosted on. Burns hosted the site himself until it was acquired in 2001 by Jupitermedia's Internet.com. The content was released in book form in 1998 as HTML Goodies, and was followed by further books entitled JavaScript Goodies (1999), Web Site Design Goodies (2001), and Beyond HTML Goodies (2002).
