The High School Television Network was a short lived digital cable channel in Canada. It first appeared in August of 2002 and it planned to show high school sports, concerts, and plays from across Canada. Also every Friday night it intended to broadcast live from a high school dance. During its early existence, however, it showed very little besides endless repeats of Spons, a Toronto-area amateur film made by High School students. The channel disappeared soon after its creation.
