House HlaaluHouse Hlaalu is one of the Six Great Dunmer houses in the popular The Elder Scrolls series, and a joinable faction in the game Morrowind. House Hlaalu has always been loyal to the Emperor and the Empire. Hlaalu welcomes Imperial Law and the Legions, and the freedom of trade and religion. They Respect the Dunmer way, the ancestors, the Temple, and the noble houses. Because of their friends in the Empire they have made many friends and enemies. Ashlanders and the three vampire clans are their sworn enemies since the ashlander tribes are losing land to the empire and the vampires are demonic and Hlaalu like others has tried to eradicate them from Vvardenfell. Due to political differences they are hostile with the two other Great houses Redoran and Telvanni but are not really at their throats. They have also of course angered the Thieves' Guild since they are allied with the empire and theft is not legal. Luckily for them, they are not only friends with the Empire and have friends in the Mages Guild, Imperial Cult, Temple, Camonna Tong, Fighters guild and Imperial Legion. It is said that much like the Duke the great house is run by the criminal syndicate, the Camonna Tong, but this has not been proven. The Great House has bases on Vvardenfell in the cities Balmora, Vivec, Suran, Gnisis, Fort Pelagiad, and they have a mining operation near the town of Caldera. It also supposedly has the ear of Duke Vedam Dren since he was the former Grand Master of the house. The capital of House Hlaalu on Vvardenfell is Balmora, but their real capital is on mainland Morrowind, Narsis. The favored Skills of this house include: - Speechcraft
