Horst Mahler
Horst Mahler
(born
January 23
,
1936
), lawyer, was the co-founder of the
German
terrorist organisation
Red Army Faction
. At the end of the 1990s he changed from
left-wing
extremism
to
right-wing
extremism. Mahler is today one of the most prominent
anti-Semitic
agitators in
Germany
. He defended the German right-wing/
neo-Nazi
party
Nationaldemokratische Partei Deutschlands
(
NPD
) in a trial before the
Bundesverfassungsgericht
, the highest court in Germany, about the prohibition of the NPD. With
Reinhold Oberlecher
and
Uwe Meenen
he belongs to the
Deutsches Kolleg
(founded 1994), who wants to be a right-wing think tank. The
Deutsches Kolleg
is profoundly anti-Semitic, and propagates a nationalist revolution in Germany.
