Hopalong Cassidy

Hopalong Cassidy is a fictional cowboy, a squeaky clean character who rides a horse named Topper. Based on the stories of Clarence E. Mulford, the character became famous when he was played by William Boyd in a series of 66 films starting in 1935. The films became immensely popular when rerun on television in the 1950s.
