Honor Student

A student that possess both high grades and high moral and ethical values. The level of grades required and evidence of moral and ethical values is usually determined by each school. This concept is usually limited to Elementary, Middle and High Schools. A similar concept in colleges and universities in the U.S. is called the Dean's List. A Dean's List is commonly simply a statement of reaching a certain high level of grades overall for the semester or quarter and does not imply moral or ethical values.
