Hongxi Emperor

The Hongxi Emperor (August 16, 1378May 29, 1425) was an Emperor of the Ming Dynasty in China. He succeeded his father, Yongle, in 1424, and died the next year. His only notable act was to cancel Zheng He's seventh expedition of exploration. He was succeeded by the Xuande Emperor.
