The Hong Kong Geographical Association exists to promote interest in, stimulate teaching of, and research in Geography. The chairperson of the executive committee is Dr. Lee, Fred. Y. S., from Department of Geography, the University of Hong Kong. The chairperson of the secondary education Committee is Mr.Yeung Victor P. K., from Assembly of God Hebron Secondary School. The chairperson of the tertiary education and research committee is Dr. Roger Chan, from University of Hong Kong. The association publishes the Hong Kong Geographer and also organizes various conferences, talks and workshops regularly. In the year 2004-2005, it has more than a hundred members.
