HomsarHomsar is a fictional character in the Homestar Runner series of animated cartoons. He is a goofy, verbally-challenged fellow who resembles a squat, blue Homestar Runner. His yellow hat has a life of its own and becomes airborne whenever Homsar speaks. The enigmatic character was created when a fan named Vinnie C. asked Strong Bad to kill "Homsar", an obvious misspelling of Homestar. Homsar survived the attempt on his life to appear in future cartoons. He's well known for his nonsensical statements, such as "I was raised by a cup of coffee" and "I'm a song from the sixties." He has also been known to call other characters odd names; Strong Bad "Reggie", Bubs "Tubbs" and Strong Sad "that rhinoceros." Strong Sad, his only friend, humors him by attending "concerts" he organizes, which consist entirely of treehugging. He has, on occasion, claimed to be the "captain of the gravy train" and also believes that he has won the Powerball. Homsar's appearances are often in the form of easter eggs. In each of the annual Halloween cartoons made after his creation (2001 onwards), Homsar can be seen in an easter egg related to The Poopsmith. Homsar also has a hidden character video and main page.
