Holmsund

Holmsund is a small village near Ume City in Vsterbotten, northern Sweden, which serves as a port for Ume city. To the west across the sound, there is a town called Obbola. Both Holmsund and Obbola have wood and paper industries.

Accommodation

One of the better-known establishments in the town is "Mster Erik". It is basically a restaurant and a Youth Hostel, but also has Student Rooms. This is the most likely place in Holmsund to find people from all over the world.

Transportation

Buses often run between Ume and Holmsund. A bus pass can be purchased for 635 Swedish Krona and used for 30 days' unlimited travel. It can be purchased from the bus driver.
