HofbruBrand of beer from Munich, Germany from the owner of the Hofbrauhaus. Worldwide known for the Beer Restaurant in Munich Downtown, but of course also for the beer tent at Munich's Oktoberfest. The Oktoberfest Tent: The Hofbru-Festzelt is the biggest beer-tent at the Oktoberfest. It is on top the only one with a standing only area just in front of the band-podium. 12 centner hop from the Holledau are forming the decoration each year. Tent size: length 82m, width 62m, area 5.084 square meters, tent capacity totals to 9,918: 4,460 persons (main hall), 1,436 persons (balconies), 1,000 persons in the standing area and 3,022 persons in the garden. In the 16 days of the yearly Oktoberfest 550,000 liters of beer, 35,000 chicken, 5,500 pork roast, 8,500 sausages, 2,800 spareribs and way more is served.
