(2001) Geography The district includes the neighbourhood of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, the eastern parts of the neighbourhoods of Rosemont and Sainte-Marie and the western part of the neighbourhood of Longe-Pointe in the City of Montreal. History The electoral district of Hochelaga was created in 1867 covering the entire eastern part of the Island of Montreal.
