Ho Man Tin

Ho Man Tin (何文田) is a mostly residential area in Kowloon, Hong Kong, part of the Kowloon City district. The area is said to be named after a street, which in turn was named after a person of the same name.

History

In the 1950s and 1960s, Ho Man Tin was a resettlement area full of refugees from China. It is close to Argyle Street and Kowloon Hospital. The area was within the district of the Kowloon City police station.

Transportation

The proposed MTR Kwun Tong Line extension will have Ho Man Tin Station, and the new terminus will be Whampoa Station.
