Ho Chi Minh International AirportHo Chi Minh International Airport is called Tan Son Nhat International Airport, code SGN, which is derived from the former name of the city Saigon, and is Vietnam's largest international airport. It cooperates with Southern Airport Service Company (SASCO). On December 9, 2004, United Airlines became the first U.S. airline to fly to Vietnam since Pan Am flown since the Fall of Saigon. UA869 (a Boeing 747-400) landed at Ho Chi Minh City, which the flight was a continuation of San Francisco-Hong Kong service. Airlines Tan Son Nhat International Airport is the base of Vietnam Airlines, main base of the regional airline, Pacific Airlines. SGN also has flights to Asia: Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea, China, and Dubai; Europe: Munich, Paris, Moscow; Australia: Sydney, Melbourne; and United States: San Francisco. External links
