Hms Pioneer (1899)

HMS ''Pioneer was a Pelorus-class light cruiser launched at Chatham, Kent in June 1899, by a Miss Andoe. She was transferred to the Royal Australian Navy in 1912 and saw action in World War I against the German cruiser Koenigsberg'' of the east coast of Africa. She was later laid up in Sydney Harbour as an accommodation Ship, and Scuttled outside Sydney harbour in 1930. Pioneer
