Hms Coromandel

The HMS Coromandel was a ship in the British Royal Navy. The town of Coromandel, New Zealand, and the peninsula on which it is situated near the Hauraki Gulf, take their name from this ship, which visited the town in 1820 to acquire kauri spars. Coromandel
