Hiigara

A word from an ancient language in the computer game Homeworld, "a word more ancient than the clans themselves". The word means 'home' and is the official name of the titular homeworld the game's characters seek. It is the only word which all the languages of Kharak have in common, illustrating its ancient, binding origin for the Kushan (inhabitants of Kharak). The real-life origin of this concocted word may be related to the Islamic word Hegira, referring to the Prophet Muhammed's historic flight from Mecca to Medina. This adds to the Middle-Eastern/Islamic feel and theme of the game.
