HierophantThe Hierophant was the chief priest in the Eleusinian Mysteries. In Tarot, The Hierophant is one of the twenty two trump cards comprising the Major Arcana, and represents the guide towards knowledge, insight and wisdom. In a tarot reading it might for example represent a priest, scholar, therapist or teacher. In the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game, the Hierophant is a prestige class in third edition and was the highest ranking for a druid in the second edition. In the fantasy world of Warhammer 40,000, the Hierophant is amongst the largest and most formidable of the Tyranid Bio creatures faced by ground forces. Not much is known about these massive creatures.
