Hey You, Pikachu!

Hey You, Pikachu! is a Nintendo 64 game released in 2000. It stars Pikachu of Pokmon fame. The game features voice-recognition technology; this is used to talk to Pikachu. Besides talking to Pikachu, the player can move around and pick up items. The game was geared towards small children and did not receive much critical acclaim; some complaints included the simplistic music and graphics, the controls, and the limits of the voice-recognition technology, which only understood about 200 words. Some people outside of the target audience did enjoy the game despite these complaints. Hey You, Pikachu! was followed by a sequel, Pokmon Channel, for the Nintendo GameCube in 2003.
