Hessel, Michigan

Hessel is an unincorporated community in Clark Township, Mackinac County in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is situated on Michigan State Highway 134 on the shore of Lake Huron in the southeastern tip of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It is just north of Marquette Island, the largest of the Les Cheneaux Islands, and just west of neighboring Cedarville, which is about 35 miles due south of Sault Ste. Marie. Hessel is the home of the Antique & Classic Boat Show" which is held annually at the public docks. Hessel is at latitude 4600'15" north and longitude 8425'33" west.
