Henry Maske

Henry Maske (born January 6, 1964 in Treuenbrietzen) is a former German boxer. Maske was one of the most popular German sports figures, not only because of his success but also because of his exemplary mannerism and outstanding fair play. During his career, he was a five-time boxing champion of East Germany and won the gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics. In 1993, he became world champion (IBF)in the middle weight category. He defended his title eleven times between 1993 and 1996 before retirement.
