Henry Edmund Fitzalan-howard, 2Nd Viscount Fitzalan Of Derwent

Henry Edmund Fitzalan-Howard, 2nd Viscount Fitzalan of Derwent born 30 Oct 1883 died 17 May 1962 After serving as a Captain during World War I, when he was wounded, he served as Assistant Private Secretary to the last Lord Lieutenant of Ireland in 1921. The last Lord Lieutenant was Edmund Fitzalan-Howard, his father, who was created 1st Viscount Fitzalan of Derwent on 28 April 1921 at the same time as his vice-regal appointment. His 33 year long marriage ended in divorce in 1955. He had two children, both daughters, and so on his death the titled expired. The 2nd viscount was also the last.
