Henry (Comic)

Henry is a comic strip created in 1932 by Carl Anderson. Henry, the star of the strip is a young bald boy who almost never speaks. With the exception of a few early strips, Henry communicates only through pantomine. The first newspaper with the comic in it was the Saturday Evening Post. William Randolph Hearst signed Anderson's strip to his King Features syndicate and began distributing it in 1934, with Sunday strips appearing the next year. Henry also appeared in a Fleischer Studios animated cartoon, alongside Betty Boop.
