Hendl

Hendl Austro-Bavarian word for "chicken" (Hhnchen in German), mainly in its roasted form. Usually consumed in a Beergarden or on the world-famous Oktoberfest. Goes down well together with a "Brezn" (Pretzel, the Bavarian variety) and a Ma (litre) of Beer. The correct standard German term is "Hhnchen".
