Hence The Mirage Hence the Mirage Hence the Mirage is a small, underground rockband from Copenhagen, Denmark. Their style is old school rock n' roll, and they quote their main sources of inspiration as being Led Zeppelin, Jet, The Doors, Pink Floyd and the Rolling Stones. All member hail from Copenhagen (though Johan is half-Hungarian and Mark claims to have Canadian ancestry!), and they all went to the musical-oriented school Sankt Ann High School. Their goal is to bring the good old days of rock n' roll back on the music scene, but spiced up with a bit of swing piano, classical violin and slap bass. So far they are not signed to a record label, although a demo tape is under way. The members include: Johan Farkhas - Guitar, congas/percussion, supporting vocals Sren Stensby - Lead Guitar, violin, piano Sune Overgaard - Drums Emil HC. - Acoustic guitar, vocals Mark Hau - Bass Hence the Mirage (temporary homepage)
