Helmuth James Graf Von Moltke

Helmuth James Graf von Moltke (1907-1945). He was a member of the Kreisau Circle. A conspirator in the July 20 plot, he was arrested in January 1944 and was later executed. Helmuth James Graf von Moltke was born on March 11, 1907. He was the firstborn of the landowner and member of the Prussian house of Lords (Preuisches Herrenhaus) Graf Helmuth von Moltke and of his wife Dorothy (nee Lady Rose-Innes), the daughter of the highest judge of the South African Union on the estate Kreisau (in Silesia, today: Poland). His parents were members of the Christian Science church.
