Hedwig Elisabeth Amelia de Bavire Pfalz-Neuburg (18 July 1673-10 August 1722) was the daughter of Philip William, Herzog von Neuburg 1653, Duke of Berg and Jlich 1666, Elector of Pfalz-Neuburg 1685, and his wife Landgrfin Elisabeth Amalie Magdalena von Hessen-Darmstadt. She married Prince James Louis Henry Sobieski, son of King Jan III Sobieski of Poland, on 8 February 1691. They had at least two daughters:

Marie Charlotte Sobieska (1697-1740) married Charles Godefroid de la Tour d'Auvergne, Duc de Bouillon (1706-1771).

# Maria Clementina Sobieska (1702-1735) married James Francis Edward Stuart, Duke of Cornwall, "The Old Pretender".
