Hector Marcano

Hector Marcano is a comedian, producer, and game show host in Puerto Rico. Marcano's career took off after Luis Vigoreaux's death. He started hosting A Millon with Sonia Noemi Gonzalez and other hosts. In 1987, as host, (alongside El Gangster) of Super Siete's show La Hora de Oro, Marcano and Jose Ortiz were the objects of two of Puerto Rico's most publicized paternal suits. In Marcano's case, he was proven not to be the father of the child he had been accused of fathering; nevertheless, he felt sorry for the boy and ended up adopting him. Later that year, his wedding with Sandra Rivera was one of the most publicized weddings in Puerto Rican entertainment history, being shown live on Puerto Rican television and with a gossip magazine, Vea, producing a wedding album about it for the public. In 1996 after Luisito Vigoreaux's exit from WAPA TV, Marcano started a game show titled Vale Mas in substitute of Vigoreaux's show called Eso Vale. In 1998 he started a variety show called Super Show and it was on air until the network switch of 2000 where Super Show changed from WAPA to Tele Once. In that same year Marcano created a program with the same format that Vale Mas had and called it Que Suerte Que es Domingo. In 2002 the name was changed to Que Suerte Tienes Tu, although it is now known simply as Que Suerte.
