Health Physics

Health physics is the study of the risks of ionizing radiation to people and the environment. Neutron radiation, which can cause ionizing radiation although not strictly an ionizing radiation itself, and which poses similar hazards, is also considered. Health physics encompasses many disciplines, including physics, biology, chemistry, and ecology.
