Hartline, WashingtonHartline is a town located in Grant County, Washington. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 134. History Hartline was officially incorporated on March 6, 1907. Geography is located at 47°41'24" North, 119°6'26" West (47.690010, -119.107279). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.9 km² (0.3 mi²). 0.9 km² (0.3 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 134 people, 60 households, and 36 families residing in the town. The population density is 156.8/km² (406.6/mi²). There are 77 housing units at an average density of 90.1/km² (233.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 93.28% White, 0.00% African American, 1.49% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 2.24% from other races, and 2.99% from two or more races. 2.24% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 60 households out of which 26.7% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.7% are married couples living together, 6.7% have a female householder with no husband present, and 40.0% are non-families. 36.7% of all households are made up of individuals and 21.7% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.23 and the average family size is 2.78. In the town the population is spread out with 22.4% under the age of 18, 4.5% from 18 to 24, 32.1% from 25 to 44, 20.1% from 45 to 64, and 20.9% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 41 years. For every 100 females there are 109.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 112.2 males. The median income for a household in the town is $27,917, and the median income for a family is $35,625. Males have a median income of $24,792 versus $26,250 for females.
