) is an
American
politician. He is currently running for the
United States Congress
as a
Republican
in
California
's 29th District. Scolinos has a B.S. degree in
Social Science
from
Cal Poly, Pomona
. He is a veteran of the
Vietnam War
and earned the
Bronze Star
. He received his law degree from
Beverly Law School
in
1974
and is a senior partner in the firm of Scolinos, Sheldon & Nevell. Scolina also founded U.S. Fingerprinting, Inc. Scolinos won the Republican
primary election
and now faces the
incumbent
Rep.
Adam Schiff
, a
Democrat
