Harahara Attack

HaraHara attack (Japanese ハラハラアタック, heart-pounding attack) is a type of attack performable in the fighting game Waku Waku 7. The term indicates an incredibly powerful, spectacular and unblockable super move which requires several seconds of inactivity of the performer prior to execution to be carried out.

Details

HaraHaras are the most powerful attacks a character can make, and some of them cover a great fraction of the screen, so avoiding them may be difficult. They can be initiated by the button sequence D, D + 2P(2K) on the controller pad. Once started, the character charges him/herself up in an animation that lasts 2 to 8 seconds, thus making him/her widely open to attacks. This is the only downside, for, if it connects, it may diminish the opponent's energy gauge by 1/2. Also, since it is unblockable, the opponent has to dodge it or counter with a "Super!" power up.
