Hara Tamiki

Hara Tamiki (原 民喜, November 15, 1905 - March 13, 1951) is a Japanese author. He was born in Hiroshima and died in Tokyo. His death was a suicide. Hara was a survivor of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and this experience became central to his work. Hara's best-known work was published in June, 1947 and is titled "Summer Flowers."
