Hanson Records

Greatly bemoaned, defunct Hanson Records released a few great seminal noise music albums, then quit. Begun by Aaron Dilloway of Wolf Eyes and Twig of Nautical Almanac in 1995, the label documented the strange new strain of bands from the midwest mixing up noise, punk and avant-garde influences. Many of these bands have moved into the forefront of American noise with more prominent avant labels now, like Metalux at Load Records and Wolf Eyes at Bulb Records.
