Hans Hermann Gror

Hans Hermann Gror OSB (October 13, 1919 - March 24, 2003) was the former Archbishop of Vienna (1986 - 1995) and a Cardinal in the Roman Catholic Church. He was eventually removed from office by Pope John Paul II for alleged sexual misconduct. Officially, the Pope accepted the resignation letter which Gror had written on the occasion of his 75th birthday.
